I am going to make my predictions for the Royal Rumble the same way that I review other shows, by picking winners, but where I hope to see them go.
Pre-show Kickoff – The New Day vs Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd, and Cesaro
I assume we are going to see Tyson Kidd and Cesaro shine here since they lost their first RAW match to The New Day. I think we will see Adam Rose eliminated it will separate him from Kidd and Cesaro.
Pick – Tyson Kidd, and Cesaro
Paige and Natalya vs The Bella Twins
I am always going to root for Paige and Nattie. I am even going to pick them for my winners since they have been doing well vs the Bellas. Probably leading to a Bella vs Bella Mania match, but I will hope the Divas Title is not involved and we also get Natalya vs Charlotte.
Pick – Paige and Natalya
The Ascension: Viktor and Konner vs The New Age Outlaws: Road Dog Jesse James and Bad Ass Billy Gun
The Ascension needs this win. The WWE has been setting them up very so far in my opinion. Even the 7 on 2 beat down was beneficial to making them look good. This match is going to be about nostalgia, with NAO’s entrance, and hitting all of their signature spots, and then getting destroyed by The Ascension. I think it will get them tons of heel heat and credibility, and set them up for a title shot. I would like to see their first title win we at Wrestlemania, but I would guess they take the belts at Fast Lane.
Pick – The Ascension (Will Rise)
The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs The Usos – Tag Team Title Match
I have yet to become a fan of the Usos, other than being flashy and high energy they don’t seem to have any direction or character traits. They are however a cornerstone to the tag team division, and they are good tag team wrestlers. The Miz and Mizdown had and abundance of character and motivations. I think that we will see Miz and Mizdow regain the titles here at the Royal Rumble, face The Ascension at Fast Lane and lose the titles. This loss will lead to Miz vs Mizdow at Wrestlemania, and the Usos vs The Ascension as well at Mania.
Pick – Miz and Mizdow.
Brock Lesnar vs John Cena vs Seth Rollins
I think Brock Lesnar will be “The Beast” for this match, especially after last week’s RAW. I expect him to run rough shod over Rollins, but not so much over Cena. In the end I expect to see Brock win. This is always where I expect to see Sting show up again to mess with Triple H and the Authority.

Not so Surprise MiTB Cash In – Rollins vs Brock Lesnar
I full expect to see Rollins, after an Authority beat down of Brock Lesnar, take the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Pick – Seth Rollins
Royal Rumble Match
This is always a cluster fuck to try and predict. We have Daniel Bryan’s return story being injected in for the last few weeks.The return of Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback. So I am going to make a few predictions here.
Surprise Entrants – J&J Security (probably as one entry), Randy Orton, X-Pac.
Winner – Randy Orton
What I would like to see – Ambrose and Reigns double elimination leading to a triple threat former Shield member match.
What we will probably get – The conclusion of Rollins vs Orton for who is “The Face” of the WWE.

Miz vs Damien Sandow
The Ascension (c) vs The Usos
Nikki (c) vs Brie
Natalya vs Charlotte (yes it’s a long shot but I want this match dammit)
Cena vs Rusev

Triple H vs Sting
Everyone else is relegated to The 2nd Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
